Den von der Organisation veröffentlichte Index der Pressefreiheit führen Finnland, Island, Irland und die Niederlande an. Das Schlusslicht bildet wieder Nordkorea.

Die USA rutschten neun Plätze ab auf den 53. und stehen hinsichtlich der Pressefreiheit jetzt auf einer Stufe mit Botswana, Kroatien und Tonga. Bei der erstmaligen Erstellung des Berichts 2002 waren sie noch auf Platz 17.

En el índice de la organisación en cuanto a la libertad de prensa los primeros países son Finlandia, Islandia, Irlandia y los Países Bajos. Al fin está Corea del Norte.
