Nikki de Saint Phalle (1930-2002) was a French child in the "USA" and was married with Jean Tinguely and then got Swiss nationality. Their expressive sculptures have their character and give the message that the world has lost the "round" element.

These front elements on the sidewalls are mainly unobserved by the passerbys. Unfortunately these elements are difficult to take a photo from them because of the hall's windows above and the wall elements are in the total backlight. One can detect a lot in the station's hall in Zurich staying some minutes there. But unfortunately the backlight makes problems.

Zurich Main Station, in former times this was the hall of the whole station
In former times the track lines ended in this hall. But soon the arrival of the trains was delayed out of the hall. Then the hall was full of administration facilities. With the opening of the underground shopping center and underground galleries the hall was freed. Today the hall can be enjoyed and is also a festival location.

The Coop center there is an eternal "provisional solution" and is destroying the sight between Bahnhofbrücke (Station Bridge) and Rudolf-Brun-Brücke (Rudolf Brun Bridge). It seems absolutely inexplicable why the Coop center has not been built underground in the 1980s. The church steeple gives an allusion how great would be the sight here when the stupid "provisional solution" would not be...

Station Quay, sight of the university
If one becomes more intelligent attending the university is not so sure. Fact is that the basics of life and wisdom about nature are not taught in the schools and not in the universities either. Also the combined application of subjects is not taught at the university because all faculties are searching separated. By this the wisdom of the university is imperfect work and the persons mean that they were "intelligent", without having learnt the basic wisdoms about the world.

In 1998 Zurich was the location of many sculptures representing cows in all different kinds. At the end the sculptures were sold. As it seems the hotel owner bought one of them and presents the cow on a hotel balcony of his hotel.

Zurich has many such little fountains. These little fountains are very good and are missing in many other Swiss towns because at such little fountains also children from 5 years on can drink water without any problems. There is only missing a bowl of water on the socket for the dog.

Zwingli was priest at Zurich Great Cathedral and liberated the church not only from the Catholic lies, but let expel Catholic monks from monasteries and headed on for a violent reform in Central Switzerland. That's why there was a "Second Kappelen War" ("Zweiter Kappelerkrieg") in 1531 and Zwingli was killed.

According to the legend Ganymed was a bright son of a king and was hijacked by Zeus to Olymp. Zeus is represented by the eagle. But the monument of Hermann Hubacher of 1952 does not show this hijacking, but the artist shaped a symbol for the longing of human beings to reach the Olymp: With a high hand Ganymed is pleading to God Father Zeus (the eagle) to take him there.

The monument is sited very unfavorable of the North. So one can take good photos of the monument only when the sky is cloudy.

As normal person one can see only half of the sculpture, and by this this sculpture is not more than a dangerous traffic block. There is missing any socket which would give orientation to visually impaired people with blindman's stick. Add to this the water egg does not make any noise. By all this the visually impaired people walk into the monument...
